The only real requirement is that you're able to print from the application. Let's take a quick look at a couple of examples to see how to create a PDF file from any file at all. So I'm going to start with a real basic example. I'm going to open up a text application on my computer. And I'm just going to paste some content in there. So, something really basic, nothing fancy. Just, maybe, I took a couple of notes or jotted down a couple of memos and I want to make a PDF of this and send it out to other users. So, from the Text Edit application that I'm using right now I just go to the File menu and choose Print. And on the Mac platform, in the lower left corner, again you want to make sure you choose Save as Adobe PDF.
